ESOL Small Group Openings:

Groups meet on Mondays and Wednesdays or Tuesdays and Thursdays.  You need to attend class twice a week, for at least 14 weeks.  Classes are ongoing and you can start anytime. You can also register to use online English courses in our computer lab.

How large are your groups?

We have small group tutoring.  This means that 3-8 students meet with a volunteer tutor.  Conversation groups are larger, with up to 25 people. 

Which level is right for me? 

To find out which groups are a good fit, please come to our office for an English assessment.  We can tell you which groups to join.

What if none of the groups fit my schedule? 

Please come and talk with us.  We will try to find something else for you. 

How do I become a student? 

Please come to our office or come to a group. All students must register and take an English assessment.  We are open 9am-8pm, Monday-Thursday and 9am-5pm on Fridays.

Where is your office?  

Our Carrboro Office is located at 200 N. Greensboro Street, Suite C-2.  This is on the 2nd Floor of Carr Mill Mall.  This is the building behind Weaver St. Market, next to Harris Teeter and CVS.  Our phone number is 919-636-4457.
