Children's Instructor - Family Literacy

We are seeking a contract (10 hours per week) instructor to provide pre-literacy language instruction to children age 5 and under in our Family Literacy Initiative.

 

The instructor will provide instruction to a small group of children. The instructor will teach four 2-hour classes each week.

 

This is a contract position beginning in late January and running through the end of May with renewal possible for the Fall semester beginning in early September. The classes will take place on Monday through Thursday mornings from 10 am-12 pm and will be held in Hillsborough (T, TH) and Carrboro (M, W).

 

Candidates must have prior experience working with pre-K children. Applications will be reviewed as they are received. A background check will be required prior to hiring.
